Albert (Al, Brother, Uncle Brud) 78 of New Rochelle NY, followed his heart to God, passing on September 30, 2018. He was born on September 14, 1940 and was the beloved Son of the late Albert Sr & Edith Cioffoletti . Al retired from New Rochelle Hospital after 35 years as a Registered Nurse. He then continued his passion working at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck NY and then retired his scrubs full-time after spreading more care and love at North General Hospital in Harlem NY. Al graced all of us with his daily blessings. His compassion to help everyone in need and his devotion to his faith was never ending. We are sure that he earned the biggest pair of Angel Wings. He leaves behind his sister Catherine Anderson, Sister -in – Law Lori Cioffoletti and his devoted best friend Angelo “Cookie” Perri, a host of Cousins, Nephews , Nieces and Godchildren who were all equally special to him. He is predeceased by his Brothers Michael and John.
From his OFH Bio... "I am a 'retired registered nurse' with advanced degrees in (MA) Religious Studies from St. Joseph College-Seminary, Yonkers, NY. Born & raised in the Roman Catholic tradition; I am an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church, New Rochelle, NY. I have been a 'son' of Saint Francis since High School (joined the SFO 1957; later entered the Franciscan Brothers of the Poor (CFP) as a novice 1968). Returned to 'secular life' in 1968 and entered the 'nursing field' to use my talents in 'caring for the sick' ... recently have become interested in the Franciscan Hermit religious concept."
