"Peace of Christ be with you!
About myself as is written in my informal constitutions and statement of intent, Sons of St. Francis:
"In a remote monastery in the Province of Ontario, Canada on the eve of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and feast day of St. Maximilian Kolbe, Aug.15th, 1989 I was formally and solemnly invested with the holy habit of St. Francis of Assisi and given the name Friar Elijah. The following year 1990 on Good Friday I began the Novena to the Divine Mercy in order to know what God wanted of my Franciscan vocation. On Holy Saturday with the blessing of the Superior General I left the monastery I was stationed at and completely abandoned myself to Divine Providence not knowing where I was to go or what I was to do. At the conclusion of the Novena on the Feast of Divine Mercy itself at 3:pm I was praying alone in front of the tabernacle and conceived the name "Sons of St. Francis" and was determined to follow a stricter observance of the primitive charism that St. Francis and his first friars had. I immediately had a Franciscan habit hand-made that would be distinct of the reform I wished to initiate. For 10 years I traveled as a pilgrim friar living the charism as I understood it. During this time I remained autonomous and did not have anyone join me in my venture nor did I write anything down to try and formalize it."
I am "de facto" status and still live as an autonomous hermit.
God bless you!"
