"Founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1849 and based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, since 1871, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration are inspired by St. Francis of Assisi, proclaiming the gospel through service to the world and humanity.
Everything the sisters do is rooted in adoration. Since Aug. 1, 1878, continuously, day and night, at least two people have been praying before the Blessed Sacrament in the FSPA Adoration Chapel inside St. Rose Convent, La Crosse, Wis. This is the longest running perpetual adoration in the nation."
