Sr. Sumithra Yvonne Marget, OFH says, "I was Born in July of 1952 and christened Sumithra Yvonne Margret at St Mary’s Basilica, Secunderabad, I hail from the garden city Bangalore which is also known as the IT capital or silicon city of India. Coming from an orthodox, conservative, practicing catholic family background, I owe my spirituality to my parents, the nuns who taught me catechism, my teachers and all the clergy who have made their presence felt during the various stages of my life. Although I don’t have anything to boast of my spiritual achievements, it’s my every moment endeavor to get closer to Jesus through Mary. Teaching is and was my passion and profession until I quit a few years ago ending my career as the Vice Principal. I continue providing tuitions to underprivileged students and try to instill in them the love of Christ and not religion.
